What History Taught Us — And What We Forgot

History has this hilarious way of shouting "DON'T DO THAT!" while we confidently march off the cliff in slow motion, waving a flag labelled “Progress.” It's like watching the same sitcom rerun for the 47th time, except every episode ends with a war, economic crash, or someone inventing a terrible mustache and declaring themselves supreme ruler. You’d think after empires fell, walls crumbled, and treaties got shredded faster than a teenager’s report card, we’d stop and go, “Hmm, maybe repeating this isn't such a hot idea.” But nope—we slap a new name on the old disaster, call it innovation, and act surprised when it blows up in our face again. Humanity: proudly ignoring history’s spoilers since the dawn of civilization.
