​Jeremy Hunt is a senior British Conservative politician who served as Chancellor of the Exchequer from October 2022 to July 2024, and has been the Member of Parliament for Godalming and Ash (formerly South West Surrey) since 2005. Born on 1 November 1966 in Kennington, London, Hunt was educated at Charterhouse School and later at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he earned a first-class degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
