Keir Starmer plans to digitize the civil service using AI to save up to £45 billion. He believes that no person's time should be spent on tasks that technology can do better, quicker, and with the same quality. Starmer will propose recruiting 2,000 tech apprentices to boost AI adoption in Whitehall. His goal is to reshape public services to make them more agile, tech-driven, and productive for working people.
