King and Queen Host VE Day Tea Party for WWII Veterans

King Charles and Queen Camilla will host a tea party at Buckingham Palace for war veterans as part of VE Day commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two in Europe. The King and Queen will also watch a flypast and attend a celebratory concert, while a military procession featuring 1,300 members of the armed forces will march along the Mall. There will be other events throughout the week, including a service of thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey, a concert in Horse Guards Parade, and street parties around the country.
