President Donald Trump hosted British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House on Thursday.
The two leaders held a joint news conference Thursday afternoon at the White House where they addressed the Russia-Ukraine war, tariffs, and security. Trump said that he thinks Russian President Vladimir Putin will "keep his word" if there's a deal to end the war in Ukraine. Last week, the Trump administration spoke with Russian officials without Ukrainian or other European allies there.
