Lies, Power, and the Fall from Grace
Political scandals are like reality TV but with higher stakes and fewer good-looking people. One day, a politician is kissing babies at a rally, and the next, they’re explaining why they "accidentally" wired taxpayer money to their secret llama farm in Peru. There’s always the classic “I have no recollection of that event,” which translates to “I was definitely there, but let’s all pretend I wasn’t.” And let’s not forget the heartfelt, totally-not-scripted apology, where they stand next to their long-suffering spouse, who looks like they’d rather be anywhere else—maybe even at that llama farm.
