PM Albanese Ambushed in Hotel Lobby by Protesters Demanding Affordable Housing Action
- Tuesday, 15 April 2025
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was verbally confronted by two men at a Melbourne hotel lobby while speaking with his media staffer Fiona Sugden. The incident was taken credit for by alt-right groups Melbourne Freedom Rally and Tactical Force Combatives, and involved a man approaching Mr. Albanese and asking him a question about affordable housing, to which he did not respond. A member of the Prime Minister's security entourage then intervened to end the exchange.
