According to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, President Trump is prepared to abandon efforts to negotiate a Russia-Ukraine peace deal within days if progress isn't made. If an agreement appears unlikely in the next few weeks, Trump will focus on other priorities. Rubio stated that while the president remains interested in a deal, he will move on if there are no immediate signs of progress.
