Welsh First Minister Criticizes UK Cabinet Colleague Over Benefits Cuts

Welsh First Minister Eluned Morgan criticized Welsh Secretary Jo Stevens, saying "I speak for myself" after Stevens said Morgan backed the Chancellor's benefits cuts. Morgan lamented the reforms and expressed concern that people were suffering and worried due to the lack of impact assessment provided by the UK government. She declined to condemn the cuts outright during a session in the Senedd, but promised to present Welsh voices on welfare reform "plainly and unambiguously".
