Disabled RAF Hero Warns Labour's Welfare Cuts Will Ruin His Life

Ian Hewitt, a former RAF pilot left permanently disabled after a freak accident during training, has warned that Labour's welfare cuts will ruin his life. He relies on crutches to walk due to paralysis, seizures, and chronic pain he experiences since being medically discharged in 2003. Hewitt fears the proposed changes to Personal Independence Payments (PIP) will leave him and other disabled veterans like himself in a perilous position, facing "falling through the cracks", as they could lose an average of £4,500 per year.
