Politicians love to talk about education like they invented books whilst standing proudly at podiums, declaring that “our children are the future,” right before they cut the school budget to buy more flags. They pass laws demanding students score higher on standardized tests, even though half of them think "Pi" is just a dessert and "critical thinking" is a liberal conspiracy. They promise to "listen to teachers," then ignore every actual teacher in a 50-mile radius and consult their cousin Dave who once substitute-taught gym in '98. At this rate, kids will graduate knowing how to recite campaign slogans but still wondering who this "Pythagoras" guy was and why he loved triangles so much.
Kent State University Removes Threatening Artwork Depicting Trump's Bloody Head

A large display at Kent State University featuring a bloody image of President Donald Trump’s head with a pike through it has sparked outrage. The artwork, created by an art student, was part of an exhibition for the Center for the Visual Arts and included the sentiment "We only have to get lucky once." In response to the controversy, the university confirmed that the student agreed to remove the display and the work was brought to a resolution with faculty support.
