Politicians love to talk about education like they invented books whilst standing proudly at podiums, declaring that “our children are the future,” right before they cut the school budget to buy more flags. They pass laws demanding students score higher on standardized tests, even though half of them think "Pi" is just a dessert and "critical thinking" is a liberal conspiracy. They promise to "listen to teachers," then ignore every actual teacher in a 50-mile radius and consult their cousin Dave who once substitute-taught gym in '98. At this rate, kids will graduate knowing how to recite campaign slogans but still wondering who this "Pythagoras" guy was and why he loved triangles so much.

President Donald Trump suggested that Harvard University could lose its tax-exempt status due to alleged antisemitism on campus. He posted on Truth Social that if Harvard continues to push "sickness" (antisemitism), it may lose its tax-exempt status and be taxed as a political entity. The president cited the condition that tax-exempt organizations must act in the public interest, implying that Harvard is not doing so.
