There’s always that one guy who runs as an independent with a manifesto that’s 80% about bringing back milk deliveries and banning cyclists. And no matter who wins, the bins still get collected late and the local duck pond remains mysteriously over budget.

According to constitutional limits, a President of the United States can serve two four-year terms. This means that Donald Trump, who was elected twice in 2016 and 2020, cannot serve a third term as US President. The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution ensures that no president can serve more than eight years, preventing the possibility of a third presidential term for Trump or any other president.
