Travellers Invade Football Pitch Near Luxury Shopping Hotspot, Bringing Noise and Disruption to Bicester
- Wednesday, 16 April 2025
A large group of travellers has set up caravans on an enormous football pitch in Bicester, Oxfordshire, just a mile away from the popular shopping destination Bicester Village. The illegal encampment has brought noise and disruption to the area, with quad bikes racing across the field and litter strewn about. Locals are too afraid to walk their dogs due to alleged human waste and bonfires being started on the pitch, which is now home to nearly 20 vehicles despite efforts by Bicester Town Council to prevent access.
