Partygate was like catching your parents hosting a secret party while lecturing you about curfew. While the rest of the country was stuck in lockdown, politicians were having a blast, toasting with wine and pretending it was “essential work.” Their excuses were as creative as a kid caught with cookie crumbs: “It wasn’t a party,” “We were just testing the cheese,” and the classic, “It was for national security!”
