Russia's Mysterious Orbit: Satellites Release Unidentified Object Amid Fears of Space-Based Nuclear Arsenal

A trio of Russian military satellites (Kosmos 2581, 2582, and 2583) released a mystery object into orbit, sparking concerns that Russia is developing space-based missiles or nuclear weapons. The United States Space Force believes the object may have separated from Kosmos 2583 on March 18, possibly for military experiments, satellite inspection, or target practice.
