You’ve got them showing up to a soccer match in loafers, arguing with the ref about “voter intent” when they miss a goal. One guy filibusters the game by holding the ball and giving a speech on infrastructure, while another forms a committee to investigate why he wasn’t passed to. Meanwhile, the coach is just trying to explain offside without triggering a parliamentary debate. It's less about winning the game and more about spinning the loss into a campaign ad: “I didn’t score, but I fought hard for every inch of that turf—just like I’ll fight for you.”

Thomas, a biological male who won a national swimming title in 2022, has promised to "keep fighting" to overturn the ruling and bring trans athletes back into women's sports.
