Visiting America has turned into a nightmare for some tourists, particularly European visitors. Instead of relaxing days on vacation, many have been locked up in jail, handcuffed and strip-searched, over minor issues. Two young German tourists were detained and deported from Hawaii after not having accommodation booked, while A British backpacker was held for nearly three weeks due to a visa issue when entering the US from Canada. The British government has warned travelers that they may be arrested or detained if they fail to abide by strict rules enforced by US border agents.
